Education And Child Protection
Aasaman Nepal (ASN) has been working in Nepal since 1999 helping marginalized children, their families and social orders to go to their rights to survival, assurance and cooperation. The organization has been working in 13 areas in supporting the foremost powerless children get to the right to instruction through inventive thoughts such as shaping understudy bunches and child-tracking framework, holding awareness workshops with guardians to ensure that they send their children to school and frame parents’ committees to beyond any doubt that schools are run properly. Currently, Aasaman Nepal is involved with various education-related projects.

Civil Society Strengthening Program (SIDA)

Empowering A New Generation of Adolescent Girls Through Education (ENGAGE)

- Project Objective: Empowerment of marginalized, out of school girls through greater advocacy and formation, operationalization of the ‘Girls and Inclusive Education Network’ so that they have an overall improved learning opportunities and outcomes

Gender Transformative and Inclusive Quality Education Promotion Project (SPAD)- Learn

Knowledge Hub for Uplifting Socio-economically marginalized children and families through actions in Education and Economic Empowerment (KHUSEE)

Leave No Girl Behind: Aarambha

- Target Beneficiaries: The project’s direct beneficiaries include un/married out-of-school adolescent (10-19 years) girls of the Madhesh province.

NRK Telethon – Child, Not Bride

Listening to the Experts

- Project Objective: Responsible local to national authorities and other actors, also at international level, begin to put the right to participation (UN CRC Article 12) of working children into practice.
Project Expected Outcomes: The perspectives and recommendations of working children and young people are taken into account by policy makers, i.e. they are incorporated into policies and programmes on child labour in Nepal and Pakistan
