Aasaman Nepal (ASN) is one of the leading Terai based NGOs led and managed by social activists since its establishment in Dhanusha, Janakpur in 1999. It was registered (R. No: 693/055/56) in the District Administration Office and has been affiliated with the Social Welfare Council (M. No: 10362), along with the Inland Revenue Office Kathmandu (PAN No: 301419332). ASN has been engaged in developing and implementing programs aimed at protection, promotion, and fulfillment of child rights in Nepal. Currently it is working in 24 projects covering 23 districts of Nepal, along with its close collaboration with local institution and authorities, in partnership with development partners like Voluntary Service Overseas (VSO), Global Development Group, BMZ/Welthungerhilfe (WHH), Swiss Contact, Population Service International (PSI), Street Child, Kindernothilfe (KNH), British Council, The Lutheran World Federation (LWF), Good Neighbors International, CARE Nepal, Captivating International, Save the Children, Plan International, World Food Program, FCDO/People in Need (PIN), USAID/John Hopkins Centre for Communication Programs, UNICEF Nepal as well as governmental organizations like the Center for Education and Human Resource Development (CEHRD) and Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration (MOFAGA).
ASN has strong foundations at the local level with marginalized people and their institutions including a child rights forum. It has shown its impact on rights holders and authorities in the areas of child rights, child protection, quality education and livelihood support. Aasaman Nepal (ASN) has been engaged in developing and implementing programs aimed at protection, promotion, and fulfillment of child rights in Nepal. The organization is working with nearly 84,771 children (42,154 boys and 42,617 girls) in 10 districts to mobilize community stakeholders and local resources on child labor and education issues. It is a participatory organization managed in a transparent, inclusive, and responsible manner at the local and national levels. It has a strong and inclusive team of dedicated professionals basically specialized in social mobilization and community development works. And whole team of Aasaman Nepal is continuously making effort to work at the community level to ensure that well-nourished children are being supported to go to school for getting an inclusive education in comprehensive safe and supportive school environment.

The team is continuously trying to work at the community level to bring positive change to the community through community mobilization.
