Aasaman Nepal (ASN) is one of the leading Terai-based NGOs managed by social activists since its establishment (1999) in Dhanusha, Janakpur. It was registered (R. No: 693/055/56) in the District Administration Office and has been affiliated with the Social Welfare Council (M. No: 10362), along with the Inland Revenue Office Kathmandu (PAN No: 301419332). ASN is engaged in developing and implementing programs aimed at the protection, promotion and fulfillment of child rights in Nepal. Currently, it is working in more than 13 districts of Nepal, along with its close collaboration with local institutions and authorities.

The organization has been in partnership with various development partners like UNICEF, VSO, Welthungerhilfe (WHH), EU (European Union), Swiss Contact, Norwegian Embassy, Population Service International (PSI), UN Women, Australian Embassy, Street Child of Nepal, Kindernothilfe (KNH), Lutheran World Relief (LWR), People In Need (PIN) and UNESCO in Nepal. Not only have this, ASN reached the community through close collaboration and coordination with the governmental agencies as well, like the Centre for Education and Human Resource Department (CEHRD) and the Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration (MOFAGA). Over the years, a total of 75 projects has been implemented in 33 districts by the organization in partnership with different international agencies.

ASN has been implementing projects with strong and inclusive team and the team member has been guided by the organization code of conduct and policies e.g. Human resource policy, financial policy, safeguarding policy, GESI policy, Zero Tolerance policy to bring the quality result. The team is continuously making an effort to work at the community level to bring positive change to the community through community mobilization.
