Promoting Quality Education for Girls and Marginalized Children
Aasaman Nepal is implementing the project “Promoting Quality Education for Girls and Marginalized Children of Dhanusha, Terai Nepal”in collaboration with The Royal Norwegian Embassy as a lead consortium partner among other two being Public Awareness Campaign (PAC) and Education’s Journalist Group. The quality of learning of the students at each grade (as per Government Standard) is the result (product) that should be kept at central point. Thus, all the efforts of the forthcoming project are maneuvered in this direction. The Madarsa, in which ECD and Grade 1-2 level students are taught Urdu language, have been included in the projects because they are one of most marginalized and minority groups excluded from the mainstream community. This is a focused project targeting quality leaning by girls and marginalized groups. Thus, the project efforts are concentrated towards target groups rather than general program for all.

ECD – 1000 students, Basic education (1-5) – 11,250 including Madarsa students
Target Institutions: 50 primary schools, 5 Madarsa and 50 ECDs of 17 VDCs of Dhanusha district
