Currently ASN has been working in 17 districts under 6 Thematic Areas as: Education/Child Protection, Women Empowerment, Livelihood/ Natural Resource Management, Disaster Risk Reduction, Health/ Nutrition and Good Governance.

Aasaman Nepal is implementing USAID Education: Equity and Inclusion Project which is a five-year project set to implement in Karnali and Madhesh Province with the objective of contributing to reduce barriers to access and retention in grade 6-10; improve quality education for marginalized children; and ensure quality implementation of disbursement linked indicators related to equity and inclusion activities under School Education Sector Plan (SESP). The project will be implemented in approximately 1800 schools spanning 215 LGs across 18 districts of Karnali and Madhesh Province.

1.Project Manager – 1 

The Project Manager will support to the project team leading the project planning, implementation and result capturing process. This position will also serve as one of the key members of the project management team and will provide thematic leadership to project team members in the province and in the field.

2.Finance and Operation Coordinator – 1 

This position will be responsible for providing overall Finance and Administration support to the organization and assigned project to ensure that all the financial, operational, and administrative functions are adhered to the required compliance of the organization, funding partner’s and governmental regulations. This position will have crucial role in maintaining financial transparency, ensuring smooth operations, and supporting the organizational and project’s mission from the provincial level.

3.Cluster Coordinator – 4 (Based in Saptari, Dhanusha, Rautahat and Parsa district)

The Cluster Lead will identify and engage local partners to strengthen interventions. This position will also serve as a key senior member of the cluster and district project management team and will provide strategic leadership to project team members in the cluster. The position will be responsible for staff management, external representation, and ensuring quality program outcomes.

4.MERL Coordinator -1

The MEAL coordinator will be responsible for all the MEAL related actions of the intervention that particularly focusses on project development, project start up, implementation and phase out. The function will particularly provide necessary support for preparation of MEAL plan, results periodic baseline, evaluation, and monitoring process in the assigned program areas and to improve the quality of programs and information management through improved monitoring and accountability system in the program areas.

5.Monitoring Evaluation Accountability Learning Officer – 1

This position will lead overall knowledge management of the project. The position will have primary responsibility for documentation of best practices, success stories, innovation and learning of the project.

6.Admin and Finance Officer – 1

This position will be responsible for providing Administration and Financial support to project team and supervisors from cluster level and will be responsible for overall cluster administrative management.

7.Admin and Logistic Officer – 2 

This position will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of administrative and logistical operations and other cluster offices as well as support logistic coordinator in other administrative tasks.

8.Information Management Officer – 1 

This position will lead data and information of USAID Education: Equity and Inclusion project MEAL component at local level under guidance of MEAL Coordinator and Program Manager.

10.Education Officer – 4 (Based in Saptari, Dhanusha, Rautahat and Parsa district)

This position will lead the Cluster of USAID Education: Equity and Inclusion project in the cluster in close collaboration with key Government of Nepal (GoN) counterparts (local government) and other education programs and advisory support of Cluster Team.

11.Local Government Equity and Inclusion (LGEI) Officer – 8 (For 8 Districts of Madhesh Province)

The LGEI Coordinator will identify and engage with local government to strengthen interventions. This position will also serve as a member of the district project management team and will provide strategic leadership to project team members in the district and province.

12.Admin Finance Assistant – 1

This position will be responsible for providing Finance and Administration support to cluster finance staffs, to prepare financial statements/vouchers of the office and ensure that all the financial, operational and administrative functions of cluster offices are adhered to the required compliance of the organization, funding partner’s and governmental regulations.

13.Social Mobilizer – 40 (For 8 Districts of Madhesh Province) 

This position will be responsible for field level activities of USAID Education: Equity and Inclusion Project and support Education Officer for overall implementation of the activities.

Languages:   Strong command of Nepali, English, Maithili, Bhojpuri (oral and written) and local language preferred/required.
