Chairperson
He is a distinguished retired civil servant of Government of Nepal, who concluded his career at the Joint Secretary position in the Government of Nepal. With decades of service, he made a distinct mark in the field of education, expertise in formal, non-formal, and administration across the country. He played an essential role in shaping policies, strengthening institutional frameworks, and promoting inclusive approaches to education. With a reputation for integrity and service, currently he is leading the Aasaman Nepal, inspiring institutional development and new talents for social change through facilitation based on his experience and learning. He also guides the organization in collective work management, organizational development, strategic vision, and inclusivity.
Mannu Kumari
Vice Chairperson
A young social activist who has been sincerely working for
three decades representing young women in rural areas to bring necessary
improvements in the fields of gender discrimination, illiteracy, and
malnutrition prevalent in society. The founder of Aasaman Nepal, she currently
serves as the vice president of the organization, committed to supporting the
institution to achieve practical and impactful results in addressing the
problems in society.
Rekha Devi Yadav
Treasurer
She showed that the status of malnutrition dominant in society can be improved by combining local good practices and local production to enhance the nutrition of children and mothers from remote Dalit, underprivileged, and marginalized families. Additionally, she worked for some time as a volunteer teacher at his own village school to contribute to educational improvement. Through awareness, behavioral as well as structured practices, she has aimed to empower the community and for sustainability, facilitating coordination and collaboration. Today, a familiar face in these efforts, she is serving as the Treasurer of Aasaman Nepal, providing leadership in financial governance, transparency, and resource mobilization within the organization.
Raj Kumar Bishwakarma
Secretary
A passionate educator and youth activist, who used to bring together Dalit and underprivileged children deprived of going to school and provide them with education, is now working as the principal of a secondary school in his own village. Rajkumar Sir, the founder of this organization, is currently serving as the secretary of the management committee. He has been guiding the organization for the development, management, and implementation of various educational projects run by the organization, as well as facilitating institutional development and regular operations.
Mira Kumari Paswan
Member
She is known as a women's rights activist in Madhesh. Resident
of Bhangaha Municipality of Mahottari, she is knowledgeable about the issues
and concerns of Dalits and the underprivileged. She has been engaged in various
community development initiatives over the past two decades. Having been
connected with Aasaman Nepal through the educational program run for student
education, she currently serves as a member of the organization's working
committee, where she facilitates and ensures the incorporation of Dalit
inclusivity perspectives in the organization's strategic plans.
Muneshwori Chamain
Member
Muneshwari belong from (Ram/Chamar) Terai Dalit and a rural community of Dhanusha. Her wisdom comes from lived experience. She is strong and vocal, she has the rare ability to see the real problems her community faces and courageously raise those concerns through existing systems. Her journey started from a housewife and now she stands as a bridge between the community and the Aasaman Nepal. She believes that literacy is a powerful vehicle for social change and empowerment the society.
Nurjaha Khatoon

Represents
from Muslim community where traditional ethics lead to the community life style
and a thought that women are thing behind of PARDA (curtain) although she has
built trust across neighborhoods by listening first and acting through
grassroots. She is committed for practical solutions, organizes volunteers,
secures resources, and champions policies that improve daily life for families
and elders. Her steady presence and hands-on leadership make her a respected,
effective force for change.
Sangita Kumari Chaudhary

She is a humble yet impactful woman, respected for her strength and simplicity. Known for raising community concerns and working tirelessly to bring people together, she inspires change and serves as a trusted voice of hope and unity. As a member, she facilitates and ensures the incorporation social issues, equity and inclusion perspectives in the organization's strategic plans.
