Strengthening Local governance for inclusive quality Education

‘Strengthening Local governance for inclusive quality Education’ is being implemented in the five districts of Terai (Dhanusha, Mahottari, Saptari, Rautahat, and Parsa). The project focuses to build the capacity of the government at district and VDC/municipality level as well as the civil societies associated and accountable for ensuring inclusive quality education. It primarily aims to mobilize local institution to ensure the quality in education. The major objective of this project is to provide formal schooling access to OOSC children of age 5 to 9 years, develop conducive school environment through school as a zone of peace, and strengthen local governance for child friendly inclusive quality education from planning to implementation level through CFLG policy guidelines and monitoring tools.
