Vacancy for the project ‘UTTHAN’
Aasaman Nepal (ASN) is one of the leading NGOs engaged in developing and implementing programs aimed at protection, promotion, and fulfillment of child rights in Nepal. Since its establishment in 1999, ASN has been continuously active in the development of children in terms of education, child rights, health and nutrition and livelihood. While operating in education and school-based program, ASN realized that child nutrition is one of the important components to be considered to give momentum and attain the vision of happier and healthier children because they directly affect the future of the children.
Aasaman Nepal in partnership with Welthungerhilfe (WHH), is implementing ‘UTTHAN’ in Saptari with the aim to strengthen citizen empowerment through the institutionalization of participatory and inclusive development in the district. For this project, Aasaman Nepal is looking for experienced and highly qualified Nepali candidate for the position of Good Governance Coordinator.
District Coordinator – Governance -1 (Saptari): The District Coordinator is responsible for providing governance support for the way in which an organization is managed, directed and governed. S/he will work closely with the other member of the Executive Officer Team to ensure the efficient and effective running of the organization working structure.
Qualification and Skills required: At least Bachelor’s Degree in social sciences with 3 years of experience in governance sector. Attribute of excellent quality of work and commitment to high standards, strong communication skills, team building, willingness and motivation for delivering good service with strong networking and interpersonal skills and comfortable to work under stress and emergencies is required.

Age Limit: Candidates between 21 years to 45 years are only eligible to apply for all the above posts.
Duration: Annual contract basis with three months probation period with the possibility of extension
