Vacancy for the project ‘SMART Nutrition Village’

Aasaman Nepal (ASN) is one of the leading NGOs engaged in developing and implementing programs aimed to protection, promotion, and fulfillment of child rights in Nepal. Since its establishment in 1999, ASN has been continuously active in the development of children in terms of education, child rights, health and nutrition and livelihood. While operating in education and school-based program, ASN realized that child nutrition is one of the important components to be considered to give momentum and attain the vision of happier and healthier children because they directly affect the future of the children.


Aasaman Nepal in partnership with Welthungerhilfe (WHH), is implementing ‘SMART Nutrition Village’ in Rautahat and Saptari districts with the aim to contribute to food and nutrition security amongst women of reproductive, vulnerable and food insecure families. For this purpose, Aasaman Nepal is looking for experienced and highly qualified Nepali candidates for the following positions:


  1. Nutrition and WASH Specialist-1 (Rautahat)

The WASH Specialist should work under the direct supervision of Program Coordinator and s/he will be responsible to implement project activities, monitoring and reporting. S/he should be updated with environmental matters and be aware of the policies and development in the areas of operation.

Qualification and Experience required: Bachelor’s Degree in Public Health with a minimum of two years of professional work experience in nutrition and WASH-related programs.



  1. Field Officer (Siraha-4 and Saptari-4)

Field Officer will be responsible for providing technical support, execution plan activities and monitoring in the field level activities in order to ensure a high standard of the project implementation.

Qualification and skills required: Bachelors in Public Health with at least one year of proven experience in implementing and managing health and nutrition programs in Nepal.


  1. Finance & Admin Officer- 1 (Saptari):  The Finance and Administration Officer reports to the Project Manager and is responsible for providing effective and efficient financial and administrative services. He/she should maintain the purchase order system, assets register, financial files, and records.

Qualification and Experience Required: Bachelor in Accounting with audit background and a good understanding of accounting principles including accrual accounting, reconciliations, and preparedness to learn more complex principles is required.

Age Limit: Candidates between 21 years to 45 years are only eligible to apply for all the above posts.

Duration: Annual contract basis with three months probation period with the possibility of extension
