Vacancy for the project ‘Livelihood Nutrition Food Security’

Aasaman Nepal (ASN) is one of the leading NGOs engaged in developing and implementing programs aimed to protection, promotion and fulfillment of child rights in Nepal. Since its establishment in 1999, ASN has been continuously active in the development of children in terms of education, child rights, health and nutrition and livelihood. While operating in education and school-based program, ASN realized that child nutrition is one of the important components to be considered to give momentum and attain the vision of happier and healthier children because they directly affect the future of the children.


Aasaman Nepal in partnership with Welthungerhilfe (WHH), is implementing ‘Livelihood Nutrition Food Security’ with the aim to improve livelihood resilience of vulnerable communities in Kamla River Basin of Siraha district. For this purpose, Aasaman Nepal is looking for experienced and highly qualified Nepali candidates for the following positions:


DRR Officer- 3

The DRR Officer will work under the supervision and guidance of Project Coordinator and support in planning and implementing the project by sharing and collecting information on hazards, identify risks to plans, and support development of preparedness and mitigation strategy.

Qualification and Experience Required: Bachelor Degree in Disaster Management or related subjects from recognized university with minimum 2 years of proven experience in relevant field.

Nutrition Officer- 3

The Nutrition Officer will train and manage field-level nutrition staff, and liaise with local level authorizes when needed. S/he will conduct regular support supervisory visits to the field to ensure the quality of nutrition projects and support identification and documentation of quality success stories.

Qualification and Experience Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Public Health or with a minimum of two years of work experience in health-related programs.


Finance & Admin Officer- 1: The Finance and Administration Officer will be responsible for all aspects of financial management and control. S/he will effectively report to the program manager in a timely, accurate, relevant and informative manner and perform general administration duties.

Qualification and Experience Required: Bachelor in Accounting or management with minimum three years of working experience. Additionally, experience of auditing and having the ability to guide Account Officers is preffered.

Age Limit: Candidates between 21 years to 45 years are only eligible to apply for all the above posts.

Duration: Annual contract basis with three months probation period with the possibility of extension
