TOR on Train teachers on early detection and strategies to promote inclusive education practices and developing low cost no cost teaching materials
Aasaman Nepal has been implementing Sisters for Sisters Education Project with the financial support of DFID and partnership with VSO Nepal at 13 schools of Dhading district. The duration of the project is from 2017 -2020. This project aims to sensitize the school and the teachers by providing training on different subject matters so that the children can learn in a more child-friendly teaching-learning method in the classroom. With this objective, Aasaman Nepal plans to conduct 5 days training on Train teachers on early detection and strategies to promote inclusive education practices and developing low cost no cost teaching materials. To run this training effectively we need a very innovative and creative facilitator for the 5 days training.
The details of the training are given below:
Participants: Total 20
Teachers: 14 EPH Teachers from secondary level and 6 community mobilizers from the project.
Venue: The training will be conducted at Dhading Besi.
Duration: The training must be completed by July 18, 2018 and the training is for 5 days.
Criteria: The facilitator must have 3 years’ experience of facilitation skill in this type of training and experience of working with teachers of the multi-ethnic group.
We have selected EPH teachers for the training because of the exposure and visit this subject requires to make the children more clear about different topics. This subject includes the subject matters of ASRH (Adolescent Sexual and Reproductive Health), environment(we can relate it to environment conservation, pre-planning and post-planning after the disaster such as the earthquake, flood and landslide etc.) and population studies. This training will help to create and use more environmentally friendly low cost no cost materials.
Note: Fee, food, accommodation, and transportation for the facilitator will be managed by the organization and the facilitator cost will be provided as per the organization norms.
